Steph Payne is a Venezuelan-Canadian Artist, Graphic Designer, and Creative Director known for her vibrant, nature-inspired artwork. After earning a BFA from Concordia University in 2013 and a Graphic Design Certificate from Humber College in 2016, Steph’s career has included everything from mural painting and public art management to brand-building and custom illustration.
She has produced art installations and painted murals for notable clients like Bank of Montreal, Shutterstock and Base 31, while also working full-time as the in-house Graphic Designer and Illustrator for Woody Nelson Cannabis, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the startup’s brand identity.
In 2019, Steph co-founded Mondo Forma, a Toronto-based public art production and design studio. As the Creative Director, she’s led high-profile projects like The Funhouse, an immersive art-maze produced with Universal Music Canada, and spearheaded the creation of a mental health themed mural in collaboration with Sun Life and CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health).
Currently, Steph is curating 60 artworks for a new condo development with The Daniels Corporation at Square One in Mississauga, which will be installed in February 2025.
