A Mural About Mental Health

WITH AMANDA LEDELRE

Mental Health Seek & Find Mural Map

A MONDO FORMA PRODUCTION

The Mental Health Mural Map project, designed by Workman Arts artist Amanda Lederle for Mental Health Week in May 2022, was produced in collaboration with SunLife, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and BentallGreenOak. The mural, titled "Mental Health Seek and Find," features a black-lined drawing on a white background, exploring themes of seeking and finding mental health supports, personal growth, resilience, and hope through lived experiences. Colored icons within the mural symbolize the visibility and availability of these supports.

As the Creative Lead and Production Manager, I managed a team of muralists, oversaw all logistics, budgeting, and liaised with the lead artist to coordinate the successful transposition of the design onto the 25 ft by 20 ft.

The project was unveiled on College Street in Toronto on June 8th, 2022.
